You are invited to the annual Rossbrook House Pow Wow, happening Thursday, June 11 at 5:30pm in the Freight House Field across from Rossbrook House. This amazing event has been going on with the children and youth for almost five decades. Started by the late Sister Maragret Hughes at Wi Wabigooni school as a thank you to the community, it has grown to include community dancers and drum groups.
The participants and students will be practicing Tuesdays beginning tomorrow after school. They will be learning more about their beautiful heritage and culture while learning to dance with pride.
Plan to join us at the Pow Wow on Thursday, June 11.
