Snails on a Bike is proud to present Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead by Tom Stoppard, directed by Faith Hart, in collaboration with 6018|North. An absurd, existential reimagining of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead rattles with the question, “What happened to the world we were promised?” This production examines the ties of friendship, the rot of institutions, and the worth of sanity in a world gone insane.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead will run April 24-May 11at 6018|North, a historic mansion and experimental art space at 6018 N. Kenmore in Edgewater. This intimate, site-specific staging offers audiences the chance to travel throughout 6018|North’s current exhibition, .

Tickets are free to reserve, but this work is not free to make! We ask for a suggested donation at the door to support our artists:

All funds go to pay our team of artists for their work, since 6018North is free.

ACCESSIBILITY: Audiences should be prepared to walk between four locations and utilize a set of outdoor steps and a set of narrow stairs. Performances will take place both indoors & outdoors and audience members are encouraged to dress in layers. Seating will differ from space to space and may include a combination of folding chairs, tall stools, and floor cushions. We will email you the day of the show with additional information and guidance! If your plans change and you are unable to attend a performance after reserving a ticket, please email us in advance so that we can release your ticket. House opens at 7:15 and we request that you remain outside the front gate until that time.

Please note: Parking is extremely difficult in this residential area. Plan to arrive early and allot extra time for parking! The space is very close to the Thorndale red line stop and the Broadway bus line.
