About this Event
Join the Portland Rose Society for a spring pruning demo and pruner sharpening event. Drop-in sharpening will start at 10am and the demo will begin at 11am. For the demo, they'll be showing you how to cut back your roses, whether they are climbers, floribundas, hybrid teas, or shrubs. The Portland Rose Society will also be offering free pruner sharpening from 10am-12pm to get you ready to put all the tips you learn into practice, so bring your dull pruners to class! (limit one per person, no loppers please).

***All classes will be held in our greenhouse Hoop House 1, which is located right behind the store. It is a large greenhouse, so it functions as a covered outdoor area. We will have patio heaters going if it's cold out but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
