The pitch fell quiet long before the final whistle. In the aftermath of Rrrrip City RIOT 3, confusion reigned. For a brief moment, it was believed that the ancient inevitability of the Tomb Kings had prevailed; order restored through bone, dust, and tradition. But when the ledgers were finally corrected and the banners counted, the truth emerged: The Elven Union team Department of Gridiron Extermination had bested all comers, narrowly edging out the Phuck Around Pharaohs and Capital Crushers to be crowned Rrrrip City RIOT 3 champions.
What followed was not celebration, but occupation.
Declaring the RCR3's host venue (Naggaroth's infamous Red Stadium) "unceded territory,” the Tomb Kings fortified its entrances with improvised barricades of benches, broken goalposts, split bone, and discarded Bloodweiser kegs. Officials were expelled. Outsiders were greeted with improvised Nehekaran missiles. No play was allowed by the unauthorized occupiers of the pitch. Inside the stadium walls, they claimed a new vision of Blood Bowl: slower, purer, and free from what they called unnecessary authority. Unauthorized squatters, clinging to a stadium they could not truly defend forever.
As pressure from Ordo Bowl officials increases, the weakness of the Tomb King occupation is laid bare. Speed was never theirs, and now inevitability has failed them. Roster depth has collapsed into dust, forcing skeletal thralls into desperate measures; shambling to secure the ball amid the chaos of the Red Stadium, clutching it like a funerary relic while insisting this slow, grinding farce was always the plan.
Even Star Players, so often invited in as “negotiators," proved to be nothing more than outside agitators, drawing attention, violence, and instability. Beyond the Red Stadium, order is gathering. Homer Coldcut and Beaverly Cleary have issued the call for lawful teams to restore order, reclaim the pitch, and remove the squatters who have mistaken legacy for legitimacy. This is not a negotiation. This is a siege. The Red Stadium will be retaken by coaches who understand that Blood Bowl is built on structure, authority, and well-earned violence.
The fourth annual Portland-are CULT major tournament is back! Rrrrip City RIOT 4: Siege of the Red Stadium is a five-game, two-day, Blood Bowl resurrection-style tournament using Third Season Edition rules. NAF sanctioning is pending.
