Join us for a series of panels talks, music and more exploring the changing landscape of Queer Nightlife and Club culture in the UK.

Date | Thursday 18 September 2025

Time | 7-10pm

Location | The Africa Centre

For this event, we will be exploring the great queer/straight divide in nightlife - opening up a discussion around safety, inclusive spaces and more within Black events.

The panel talk will be followed by our speed-dating networking event and social with DJ sets! It will be an opportunity for creative industry experts to meet with people who want to break into the creative worlds in London.

Everyone is welcome! Please note that this space is created for and by Black LGBTQ+ people. Our goal is to amplify the community through this creative intervention.

Queer Bruk is a clubnight and platform that aims to bridge the gap between queer nightlife and Afro-Caribbean music. We want to create safe spaces for black and brown queer people to celebrate the music a lot of us grew up listening to.
