In our light-filled space, you’ll learn how to design and build your own terrarium to take home. We’ll provide everything you need—glass vessel, soil, sand, moss, stones, and tiny accents—no green thumb required.

As you create, sip on your choice of hot or iced tea. Expect low-pressure, easygoing vibes, moments of quiet focus, conversation, and a welcoming sense of community.

This is a chance to unplug, work with your hands, and find calm in the process—no rush, no expectations, just a gentle creative pause.

Carmen and Steven started Sunset Commons to provide a space to connect and build community through arts and craft activities led by talented local artists. Inspired by a love for creativity and a desire to foster connection in the Sunset District, we envisioned a “third space” where neighbors can gather, unwind, and form meaningful relationships. Our mission is to empower self-expression, boost confidence, and offer an inclusive haven for everyone, from introverts seeking a calm environment to those enjoying health-focused traditional teas.
