Join us on Saturday, 31 January 2026 for a face-to-face community meetup for Romanian founders, freelancers, and business owners at any stage.
This is not a sales event. It is a space to connect, exchange real experiences, and help shape what comes next for the Romanian business community locally.
During the day, we will:
- bring together Romanian entrepreneurs from across sectors
- share early insights and findings from the project
- reveal the first map of Romanian businesses in Birmingham

About Romanians in Birmingham - Rooted and Thriving project
Rooted and Thriving is a six-month community initiative founded by Barrow Cadbury Trust for Romanian entrepreneurs and self-employed professionals in Birmingham and the surrounding area.
The project focuses on connection, visibility, and practical support, bringing people together face to face to share experience, learn from one another, and strengthen the local Romanian business ecosystem.
About DOR – Romanian Diaspora
We are an organisation of Romanians in the United Kingdom that supports diaspora communities across the Midlands and nationally.
We believe in the potential of the Romanian community abroad and provide opportunities for learning, integration, and cultural expression, both online and offline.
