WildKind and Dometic are partnering up to provide a summer of reclaiming YOUR Type II Fun - come join us!
About this Event

WildKind is thrilled to be partnering with Dometic this summer to encourage women of all walks of life to find adventure outdoors on singletrack.

Save your spot NOW because we're inviting 15 ladies to join us in Carbondale for a weekend of camping, mountain biking, and all-around fun.

Here's the plan:

✔️ The weekend will be hosted by WildKind's all-stars and cofounders, Heather Balogh Rochfort and Brooke Murray.

✔️ We will be camping outside of Carbondale from Friday night - Sunday. Camping location and details will be shared closer to the weekend for registered attendees.

✔️ Arrive between 12-1pm on Friday for an afternoon ride at Coal Basin near Redstone which will have options for both beginner and experienced riders. If you are driving in that afternoon, meet us Friday evening for dinner out in Redstone.

✔️ Saturday: Bike Snowmass! Snowmass has some of the best riding in the state, so we'll look at the best options based on trail conditions at that point. Snowmass isn't technical riding, but you do need some endurance since there is always climbing in the valley — expect at least 700-1000 feet of climbing out of the gates! (But there is always a Plan B if that sounds like it'll give you a heart attack).

Afterwards, explore Aspen/Snowmass or potentially go SUP in Aspen. Dinner out in downtown Carbondale on Saturday night before returning to camp.

✔️ Sunday: Bike the Carbondale trail system --we'll be able to bike straight from our campsite. This can be a choose-your-own adventure if people want to drive back early, but it's a massive trail network with trails for all abilities. We'll be sure to ride a classic valley feature - a Monte Carlo car parked in the trail.

The details:

This camping trip is FREE to join, and will also include a tasty ice cream sundae bar thanks to our friends at Dometic. Otherwise, all expenses (including camp meals and dinners out) will be at the responsibility of each attendee.

Once we have our crew, we'll be in touch with details and connect everyone for carpooling and final details. It is going to be an EPIC weekend and we hope you can join!
