Welcome All! To the 15th Roanoke-Hatteras American Indian Festival and Pow wow! Held at the Manteo High School, Manteo, NC -practice footbal field. This communnity - family friendly event is designed for all ages. Come learn more about the native american culture of this hisotric Outer banks community, whose presence is recorded in history as early as 1584, when John White traveled to the shores of Hatteras Island. Enjoy the festival exibits, exquisite craftsmanship, community awareness and information sharing along with great food, native music and more... Remember Grand Entry begins 12:00 noon on both on Saturday and Sunday. The Pow wow is free to enter. Free gift for the 1st 100 guests - stop by our registration tent.
