Let's explore some of Canada and hike Banff and Jasper National Parks with their scenic valleys, spectacular peaks, glaciers, forests, meadows and rivers. Early summer is great time to visit this areas because of water galore, fresh greenery and lots of sun. We will drive on the scenic highway through Kootenay and Yoho National Parks and hike at the Stanley Glacier. We will finish the trip with spending time and sightseeing Calgary, BC.Visiting Canada requires to have a valid US passport for the American citizens and a Canadian visa for non-US citizens: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/before-you-go.html

Trip's Summary:
* 6days/5nights trip for a small group of 6 explorers.
* The starting point and ending point is Calgary, BC.
* Level of activities: Easy to Intermediate.
* Hotel accommodations in Fernie, BC, Banff, BC, Calgary, BC. All locations in this event follow safety requirements by the state.
Clothes and gear recommended:
· good hiking shoes,
· warm jacket for evenings, be ready to layer up,
· hiking poles if you used to them,
· consider hydration bladder for hikes,
· sunglasses,
· sunscreen,
· hat,
· for personal protection: mask, carry-on sanitizer, gloves (by your choice.)
Tentative cost $790. The final calculation will be made 2 mo before the start. What will be included:
* 6days/5nights stay in 2-people occupancy non-smoking room (two beds in hotels' rooms),
* Breakfasts at some hotels,
* Transportation by minivan (like Chrysler Pacifica, Dodge Grand, Ford Transit or similar) covering more than 1000 mi of road-tripping total,
* Organized hikes in all days.
What is NOT included:
* Getting to and returning from Calgary, BC
* Meals, snacks, water.
* entrance fees in the Canadian National parks, charged per person (they are less than USD 10/person/each park.) We may decide to skip Kootenay and/or Yoho for spending more time in Banff and Jasper.
Sunrise: 7:20am. Sunset: 7:40pm. Every day we want to start off from the hotel at 7 am or 7:30am. The purpose of it is to use more of daylight time for activities.

UPD. There will be a Zoom meeting on this trip and a WhatsApp group chat will be formed for the group to communicate and prepare for the trip. Please be available to connect by WhatsApp (provide the organizer with your WhatsApp contact info to be included in the chat.) Regular messaging will not work out for this trip, sorry.
HOW to RESERVE a SPOT in the GROUP:
You should be able to see an Eventbrite payment link. The $10 payment through Eventbrite is for reserving your spot in this small group(and it counts in toward the whole payment for the trip.) After you reserved a spot, you will be contacted by the organizer about a Zoom meeting with the group and joining a WhatsApp group chat. Meeting your future group-mates in a Zoom and being able to communicate by WhatsApp are mandatory steps to become a part of this trip and make the full payment.
If any of these cannot be done/mind changed, the $10 reservation payment will be refunded in full though the initial means of payment, minus fees paid to Eventbrite/third parties.
The outline of the trip will be communicated during a Zoom meeting and in WhatsApp group chat. The detailed, hour-by-hour, itinerary will be provided to the confirmed participants of the trip.
