Rizal Rhythms, w/Charito & Tess! is finally here! Join us for a night of amazing music & support a great cause at the same time. This benefit concert for Dr Jose Rizal Park will be held at the Rainier Arts Center.
Join us for an evening of soulful jazz to support the restoration and safety of Dr Jose Rizal Park! After recent vandalism, our beloved park needs your help to bring it back to life and ensure it remains a safe, beautiful space for our community.

Although Parks and recreation have agreed to replace the plaques with a different material and not bronze, nothing has been started or communicated for months. Renovation of the bathrooms will start in August 2025 and playground in 2027!
We need public safety measures in place for the park
1.) lighting
2.) seveillance cameras
3.) a gate at the parking area and signage for hours as there has been all night gang activities there.
4.) speed bumps in 12th Ave S.
5.) Time capsule replacement
Plus clean up and maintenance.
A park that the community can enjoy again!
All proceeds from the concert will go toward repairing damages, funding park improvements, and enhancing public safety measures. Together, we can make a difference and bring joy back to this special place!

Up and coming Jazz Vocalist Jhasmine Rabara
Arnaldo! A local favorite! Jazz and Cabaret vocalist.
New York Bistro Award winner Arnaldo Inocentes started as a soloist with The Seattle Men's Chorus. He has performed nationally and internationally and currently is the Executive Producer of the annual Seattle Cabaret Festival and Co-Executive Director of Pride ASIA. A proud gay Filipino American immigrant, he has combined his love of music with his community work and hopes to "open hearts and minds through music one cabaret at a time."
Julius Mina
Hailing from Seattle (born and raised) Tess Guerzon blends classic jazz with a modern soulful and latin twist, creating unforgettable perfomances that captivate every audience. Her warm and passionate style has been compared to Karen Carpenter. Her influences are Sade, Ella Fitzgerald, Dione Warwick, Barbara Strisand, Brasil 66, Diana Ross and pop/jazz group Swing out Sister. (and most recently Laufey)
She has performed and partnered at many local festivals that embrace her Filipino/Spanish culture and organizes a Jazz Festival every August since 2009, to promote awareness and to showcase other jazz artists at the Dr Jose Rizal Park,on North Beacon Hill, a park her mother helped name in the 1970's and 80's. www.rizalparkjazzfest.com. She has performed at Jazz Alley, the Royal Room, Tula's, Triple Door, Cypress Lounge, (Hyatt Hotel) and has been a regular performer at 13 Coins Seatac and Bellevue, just to name a few. Her pop/jazz band is TNT, Tessarosa and her jazz combo is Tess and friends.
