About this Event
From Caravaggio to Raymond Pettibon, tracing has been an important part of image making and getting likenesses in art. Inking with brush is a technique all its own.
In this class we will learn a hybrid technique of hand-drawn base drawings on tracing paper done with a ink brush, scanned into image editing software and printed on the Risograph machine. This provides us with the human touch that a purely digital workflow cannot reproduce with the precision and looseness provided by purely digital production.
Supplies Included! Bring a photograph or a photo montage of a person you would like to use as source material.
Basic understanding of drawing is expected for this class. Questions? Email [email protected].
No One Turned Away For Lack Of Funds Policy - Limited on cash or unemployed right now? We have a set of free tickets specifically reserved for you! Email [email protected] to check if any are still available. No proof required.
