Course Overview:

The law does not expect you to eliminate all risk, but you are required to protect people as far as ‘reasonably practicable’. This course covers how to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate control measures. The Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) imposes a general duty on employers, self-employed individuals, employees, suppliers, and owners of premises to ensure workplaces are safe and do not pose health risks.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this risk assessment training, participants will be able to:

● Identify key responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act (HASAWA)
● Explain the difference between hazards, risks, and control measures
● Recognize safety signs and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
● Understand the role of accidents in evaluating risks and control measures
● Apply the 4 corners of the risk assessment process
● Demonstrate understanding of risk assessment through practical exercises

Anybody who is interested in learning Risk Assessment Skills.
