About this Event

Part 3 of the Rising Rates of Congenital Syphilis & Access to Care series will reexamine New York's syphilis data, share an active research program centering community, and provide methods for everyone to get involved with advocacy, patient care, individual health, and more.

Dawn H Schuk, MHA - CEO Sisterlink Collaborative Inc.

Dawn H Schuk is the Founder and current Executive Director of Sisterlink Collaborative Inc. a resource and referral network for high-risk pregnant women in NYC. She has over 30 years of experience in women’s health and for the last 20 years, she worked on building city, state, and national networks/coalitions around the issues of HIV, Hep C, Substance Abuse, Human Trafficking, Mental Health, Veterans, Maternal Health, and Infant Mortality.


Gabriela Betancourt, DrPH, MPH, MA - Senior Program Evaluator & City Research Scientist, NYC DOHMH Bureau of Hepatitis, HIV, and Sexually Transmitted Infections
