Parker Street Ministries is also holding a 24-hour livestream telethon from May 7 at 6PM to May 8 at 6PM where the Ribbon Cutting will be part of the show!
Limited parking is available at The George W. Jenkins Gathering Place (714 N Massachusetts Ave). Additional parking is available across the street at PSM’s main campus (719 N Massachusetts Ave).

Parker Street Ministries (PSM) is a Gospel-centered community development organization serving Lakeland’s Parker Street and North Wire neighborhoods. For nearly 30 years, the ministry has focused on building lasting relationships with neighbors. Parker Street Ministries offers year-round programs designed to support the whole family, including the Academic Enrichment Program, which serves neighborhood students through an after-school program during the school year and an 8-week summer camp, leadership and workforce development opportunities for teens, and gatherings that bring families and neighbors together in meaningful ways. What makes Parker Street Ministries unique is its deep commitment to one part of Lakeland by walking alongside residents over the long term, investing in young people, and creating spaces where education, faith, and community can flourish together.
The George W. Jenkins Gathering Place at Parker Street Ministries, located across the street from its main campus, will serve as a welcoming community space. The front portion of the building will host events for Parker Street Ministries and provide a place where neighborhood residents can gather and celebrate special occasions. The back half of the building will be the new home for PSM's Young Adult Program, serving high school students and providing dedicated space for learning, mentoring, and vocational exploration.
