About this Event
In this experience, you'll receive education about your nervous system and move through practices designed to shift your nervous system from stress to safety, connection, and restoration. We'll work with the four elements as a framework for exploring grounding, breath, release, and flow in your body.
This experience teaches you the science first, then guides you through the embodied practices that actually create lasting change.
Your body holds the stories that your mind has tried to forget. Chronic stress and overwhelm live in your nervous system - not just your mind. Grounded in polyvagal theory and trauma-informed care, this journey offers what the mind alone cannot do: a pathway home to your body.
You'll experience:
- Evidence-based breathwork and somatic practices that increase nervous system resilience
- Gentle movement to release tension and stress stuck in your tissues
- A guided drum journey using rhythmic entrainment to access deep healing states
- Somatic practices to process anything your body has been holding
- Community co-regulation in a safe, trauma-informed space
This is about working with your nervous system the way it's designed to heal. You'll leave with a greater understanding of your nervous system and energy systems and practical tools you can use at home.
Nervous system education:
- The three states: ventral vagal (safe & social), sympathetic (fight/flight), dorsal vagal (freeze/shutdown)
- How chronic stress keeps us cycling between survival states
- Why we can't "think" our way out of nervous system dysregulation
- The concept of completing stress cycles vs. suppressing them
- How somatic practices work with your nervous system, not against it

Betsy brings 13 years of nursing experience together with specialized training in somatic coaching to guide you through this transformative experience. As the founder of Embodied Guidance, she specializes in Somatic Nurse Coaching, helping people find their way back to balance through evidence-based somatic and nature practices.
