Join the West City Jazz Project and West City Concert Band for an unforgettable evening of syncopation and swing! The West City Jazz Project, led by Mike Young, is a new and exciting pop-up group here to open the show with a program of Jazz standards and newer compositions, including works made famous by Buddy Rich, Ella Fitzgerald, Wayne Shorter and more.
Following this, the West City Concert Band will take you on a journey through lively metropolitan dances, dark rebellious urban nightlife, to the Bayou, the New Orleans second line, and Latin American dance. Having a boogie in your seat (or out of it) is encouraged!
