This quartet comes together for its first live performance to explore improvisation and uncharted musical terrain more deeply. After a successful initial meeting in a tiny basement rehearsal room, it quickly became clear that all four musicians were eager to bring this collaboration to the stage. Each member is a distinctive voice on both the national and international scene, contributing their own musical perspectives and experiences. The group will present a selection of works by artists such as Marilyn Crispell, Andrew Hill, and Eric Dolphy.
