ATTENDANCE POLICY - Live Stream Virtual Classroom

  • Attendance is visually tracked, just as it is in a traditional classroom setting.
  • Your camera must be turned on throughout the meeting.

Students are entirely responsible for the performance of their own technology, including audio volume, video clarity, and a stable internet connection, as well as scanning any and all downloaded materials received online.

You must be present for the entire class.

Zoom's interaction and engagement tracking report will provide who joined, when you joined the meeting, when you left the meeting, how long you attended, what device you used to join the meeting, and the chat box activity required to issue continuing education credits at the end of your virtual class.

If you open another video, Facebook, website, email, or YouTube during the class that puts Zoom in the background or in a secondary position, your score will be less than 100%. Your CE credits will not be issued.

Throughout the meeting, you will be asked to respond to Polling Questions. Five evaluation questions will be presented at the end of the meeting for answers.
ZOOM will provide ALL THREE REPORTS REQUIRED FOR CE CREDIT.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM POLICIES:

Students must have their device's camera turned on and their faces visible throughout the class (attendance verification requirement). To receive your CE credits, you must attend the entire program.

The class event will begin at the scheduled time. Students should be prepared and logged in at least 10 minutes early so that they can begin the class on time.

During a virtual class, students should remain stationary in a distraction-free environment. For example, no walking, driving, talking on the phone or to another person in the room, cooking, and so on. Switch off all cell phones, tables, and laptop computers. Set aside all personal matters.

By default, students' audio will be turned off. If a student wishes to ask or answer a question, they may enable audio. Students can enter any comment or question in their chat box, or they can enable audio to speak. Questions are welcome!

Recruiting for jobs is not permitted during class! Any recruitment efforts must be reported to Danica Peoples at [email protected].

During a 3-hour CE, there will be a 15-minute break. After breaks, return to class on time.
