About this Event
February is an invitation to slow down, soften, and pour back into yourself. This self love sound bath is a space created for those who are curious about sound healing, new to the experience, returning to it or intentionally seeking a practitioner who understands the importance of cultural care and connection.
A soundbath is a deeply restorative experience where sound and vibration gently guide the body into rest. As you lie comfortably, tones from singing bowls and other instruments support the nervous system, helping release built-up tension and quiet the constant noise of the mind. There is nothing you need to fix, solve, or perform, this time is simply for you to receive.
This experience is especially meaningful for Black people because rest has not always been accessible, encouraged or protected. Many of us carry stress in our bodies that didn’t start with us pressure to keep going, to be strong, to hold everything together. This space is an intentional pause from that weight. It is a reminder that your body deserves softness, care, and safety.
The intention for this gathering is self love as rest and wellness. Self love here is not about perfection or productivity. It is about allowing yourself to slow down without guilt, listening to your body, and tending to your well being in ways that feel supportive and real.
You are invited to arrive with an open heart and an open mind, holding a personal intention connected to how you want to show up for yourself in this season. Whether your intention is grounding, release, ease, or deeper connection, the sound will support you in anchoring that intention into your body.
This experience is an offering of rest as care, rest as nourishment, and rest as a pathway back to yourself.
