Returning Home - SF Yoga
This class is a gentle, trauma-informed yoga pop-up created for those navigating stress, anxiety, and the impacts of trauma. These classes offer a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with the body, and cultivate a sense of safety and ease—without pressure to perform or “fix” anything.
Rooted in nervous-system regulation and choice-based movement, each class emphasizes grounding, breath awareness, and simple, accessible postures. Participants are always invited—not required—to move, rest, or modify in ways that feel supportive in their own bodies. Language is intentionally inclusive and invitational, honoring personal agency and lived experience.
Return Home is designed as a donation-based offering to increase access for marginalized and underserved communities across San Francisco. The intention is to create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where people can rest, release tension, and gently return to themselves—exactly as they are.
Classes are facilitated by a 350-hour Registered Yoga Teacher specializing in trauma-informed practices and stress and anxiety relief, with a deep commitment to equity, accessibility, and community care.
