Step into a time machine and relive the golden memories of the past with the wonderful elders at Udgita Old Age Home. Retro Rhythms 2.0 is a one-time volunteer event designed to bring joy, nostalgia, and meaningful human connection through music, storytelling, and shared moments.
This experience invites volunteers to spend a heartfelt afternoon engaging with senior citizens through retro-themed activities. From classic songs and nostalgic conversations to light entertainment and interactive games, the event aims to recreate cherished memories from earlier decades while building warm intergenerational connections.
Volunteers will play an important role in creating a lively atmosphere by interacting with residents, assisting with activities, and simply sharing time and laughter with the elders. Sometimes, the most meaningful contribution is presence—listening to their stories, dancing to old melodies, and helping them relive beautiful moments from their past.
This initiative is organized by Bhumi, one of India’s leading youth volunteer organizations, committed to driving social change through community engagement.
