Joan Mummert, the longtime president and CEO of the York County History Center, will retire from the History Center at the end of April.To celebrate and honor Joan’s many achievements, the public is invited to a drop-in celebration at the History Center Monday, April 21, from 4-7 p.m. A reception with light refreshments will be held in Joan’s honor, with remarks at 5:30.
In lieu of gifts, Joan has requested that those wishing to honor her consider a donation to the Joan Mummert Legacy Fund, which will support York County History Center staff development.
