Resurrecting the Divine Feminine: A Solstice Ritual
A winter solstice ceremony in celebration of the divine feminine, featuring projected visuals, a musical journey and deep dialogue. The circle will open with an introductory incantation from The Library of Esoterica’s Jessica Hundley, followed by a conversation and channeled journey with the artist Penny Slinger. Focused on calling in The Goddess, Penny will lead a meditation on the nature and qualities of the feminine spirit and how we can incorporate the resurrection of this spirit meaningfully into our hearts and into our lives. The evening will culminate with Liberate Elemental Forces performing a Raga devoted to the feminine—opening her portal into a new year and new beginnings.

Liberate Elemental Forces is an Indian classical/experimental music collective from the east side of Los Angeles. Instrumentation is varied but centered on sitar, tabla and synthesizer while incorporating lap steel, swarmandal, flute, tanpura, electric guitar and vocals to create their Indo-cosmic sound.
The music is based on the fundamental architecture of classical Indian ragas and rhythm cycles but also fuses the meditative aspects of spiritual jazz and kosmiche musik. The core of the group has trained in both LA and Kolkata with their guru Pandit Shashanka Bakshi (a world renowned tabla master who played with greats like Ravi Shankar and Nikhil Banerjee). The band has performed extensively at some of LA's greatest venues and happenings, as well as in the private homes of many beloved artists and patrons. @liberate_elemental_forces // liberateelementalforces.com
