This 16-hour weekend training explores restorative yoga through the lens of nervous system regulation, somatic movement, and trauma-informed teaching.Many people today live in a constant state of stress and stimulation. Restorative yoga offers a powerful way to support the body’s natural shift toward rest, recovery, and balance. In this training, you will learn how to guide students into deep rest using intelligent prop support, thoughtful sequencing, and gentle somatic preparation.
Over the course of the weekend, participants will experience four restorative yoga practices and learn practical tools for teaching restorative classes that support nervous system regulation.
What you will learn
• Foundations of restorative yoga and deep rest

• Somatic movement and restorative warm-up techniques
• Trauma-informed teaching principles
• How to sequence and teach restorative yoga classes
• Practical applications for stress, burnout, and recovery
Training includes
• 16 hours of in-person training (Saturday & Sunday)
• 4 restorative yoga practices
• Somatic movement preparation techniques
• Teaching practicum and sequencing guidance
• 2 hours of recorded restorative practices for continued learning
• Certificate with 16 CEU hours with Yoga Alliance
