Restorative Pilates Pop-Up Fundraiser: Lumos x Fitness Chemist

Join Julia Tiberio, Certified Pilates Instructor, The Fitness Chemist, (fitness.chemist) for a 45 Restorative Pilates class at Lumos Infrared Sauna + Cold Plunge(@lumossauna) in an effort to not only get together for a relaxing morning, but fundraise for an amazing cause, A Horse's Friend (@ahorsesfriend).

There will be giveaways from Lumos Infrared Sauna + Cold Plunge and Lululemon.

Since its foundation in 2004, A Horse’s Friend, Inc., an outreach program whose mission is to expose youth from the inner city and underserved populations to the world of horses, has touched the lives of over 5,000 such youth, disadvantaged and otherwise underprivileged children. AHF has provided children alternatives to street activities that may lead to truancy, violence and drug use. In addition, AHF adds a new dimension of experiences and life choices not commonly provided at inner city facilities. The entire program provides an environment in which all riders can achieve success, support each other, and develop special bonds with other children and animals, all while helping to develop their full potential and becoming more productive citizens in their community.

Parking & Bathroom:
There is a large parking lot right in front of the space with plenty of parking. There are bathrooms located in Lumos.
Getting to the space:
When you enter the Culver Armory Plaza, go all the way to the back of the parking lot and you will run right into Lumos!
What to bring:

• Water bottle
• Workout mat (Required to work out - We have VERY minimal extras!)

Pilates Experience:

The mat Pilates class is open to all levels! The Fitness Chemist is excited lead us through a Restorative mat Pilates class, offering an inclusive experience for all to partake in!

Lumos Experience:

Being in the serene environment of Lumos always brings a calming presence to your Sunday morning. Lumos will be provided cold eucalypis towels to all participants post class. It's encouraged to look at the schedule ahead of time and book a session for after class! Lumos sessions are not included in your tickets and will need to be purchased separately.
