At Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, our mission is to save animals from high K*ll shelters and unite them with their forever families in the Pacific Northwest. While Resilient Hearts operates as an animal rescue first, we have grown into a community gathering space, extending our own forever family in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.
Resilient Hearts is an LGBTQ led organization with a focus on being accessible and inclusive. We believe that there are far too many barriers on the public when it comes to adopting, volunteering with or fostering rescue animals. We want to be the bridge that bonds loving families and animals in need. We all have a story to tell and lessons to learn from each other. Resiliency extends far beyond the animals we save, and the lessons learned from their lives are shared to help all of us heal.
