About this Event

About Vinicius Salles / Murmur

I work through a practice of opening worlds through invitation, creating delicate entrances into spaces that hold danger and potentiality. I craft narratives rooted in movement, text, immersive approaches and feminist, queer, immigration, identity and political discourse. I hold degrees from Martins Pena, BR and the UAL. I have collaborated with Punchdrunk, Gecko and Jasmin Vardimon Company as performer, director and creative team member. My projects have received support from ACE and international recognition. I seek to unsettle traditional forms, blurring the space between audience and performer through movement and interdisciplinary collaboration.

About the Sharing

That Old Gaff on Meatham Estate is an immersive contemporary drama set inside a London council flat shared by three women living at the margins of British society. Inspired by the myth The Three Knights and the Magic Choice, the flat becomes a modern test space where pressure, fear, and fractured loyalty collide. Maxine, Lurdes, and Claudia have fallen behind on rent and on drug payments owed to Bridge Road Command, a criminal organisation with a reputation shaped by both street power and whispered beliefs in spiritual influence. When their savings mysteriously disappear, suspicion grows and the group’s fragile unity breaks down. Bridge Road Command demands that only two of them may stay, forcing the women to choose who must die. The audience moves inside and around the flat, becoming active observers whose presence, judgments, and votes directly influence the conflict and expose the moral boundaries of survival.

Running time: 1 Hour.
