As the longest night of the year invites us inward, join your hosts, Paulina and Tamara, at the Self-Retreat Studio in Camden, for a nurturing half-day retreat to honour the Winter Solstice — a sacred threshold of release, renewal, and quiet transformation.
We'll begin by setting intentions, before gently shaking off layers of stress held in the nervous system through the simple, yet powerful practice of TRE (Tension, Stress & Trauma Releasing Exercises) - you'll be reconnected with a sense of calm, grounding, and embodiment.
We’ll then journey into deep rest with a healing sound bath using alchemy crystal bowls - vibrational medicine will soothe your body, clear energetic stagnation, and connect you to the wisdom of stillness. In this place of stillness, you will be encouraged to reflect on themes of renewal, hope and new beginnings.
This retreat offers a rare moment to pause before the busyness of the festive season — to reset, and plant intentional seeds for the upcoming light.

Info: Many traditions use the Winter Solstice rituals to release the past year. In keeping with this, we will dive into a journaling exercise on themes of release.

Letting Go: Tension, Stress & Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®)
Info: After a simple grounding exercise to help you connect with internal sensations and the studio space, Tamara will guide you through the Tension, Stress & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®) practice. TRE assists the body to release stress, tension and trauma through its natural shaking or tremor reflex.
