The Friends of ANZAC Cottage take great pleasure in inviting you your friends and family to our annual Remembrance Day commemorations on November 11 2025 from 4 pm to 6 pm at ANZAC Cottage 38 Kalgoorlie Street Mount Hawthorn.
This event will explore the theme of “remembrance and peace” with the assistance support and insights from our co-hosts students from the Premier’s ANZAC Student Tour. Visitors to this free commemoration will be able to tour the Cottage to admire our revamped “Field of Remembrance” and browse the mini-exhibitions explaining the significance of the white poppy.
The moving Sunset Service will begin at 5 pm and conclude at 6 pm at the “going down of the sun.” To explain the timing: whilst the Armistice was signed at 11.00 am in France it was 6.00 pm in Perth.
Entry is free to this memorial event with refreshments available for a gold coin donation. Bookings are not required.
