Heather is a professional opera /crossover singer and fellow of Trinity College of Music, with over 30 years' experience.
Featured on BBC Radio 4 and The Times for her work with adult beginners.

WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT
SINGING IS GOOD FOR YOU! (Even if you don't think you're very "good"!)
Relaxation, breath work, simple vocal technique, voice liberation and a variety of songs to lift our spirits and free our voices in informal, friendly company.
We sing a wide variety of songs in harmony and unison, and practice technique to relax and develop our voices - with the focus on creativity, freedom and wellbeing.
Group members are invited to sing at local, public festive events and to share our songs with friends and family at the end of term.
Who is it for?
- Adults of all standards - non-judgemental space.
- Anxious beginners are warmly encouraged
- Current singers looking to refresh and keep in practice
- You don't need to read music or sing by yourself.
What will you learn?
Each week we will introduce new elements of vocal technique, building into a practical, sustainable vocal warm up to support ongoing healthy vocal habits.

Apply technique to our songs
- We sing a range of song genres, from sea shanties to showtunes (even opera and jazz!)
- Harmonise (improvised and learned parts)
- This term will have a festive flavour/carols/Christmas songs.
