Iranian clarinetist Shabnam Parvaresh opens the last evening of the festival with her Sheen Trio where she processes the experience of growing up as an independent woman in Iran's repressive regime in her trio. Strands of jazz rock and experimental music are interwoven with musical influences from Iran in a delicate and nuanced way. The result is an intense and hypnotic listening experience.

The festival finishes with an absolute highlight: French bandoneon virtuoso Louise Jallu will present in quartet her unique and very personal approach to Piazzolla and original compositions from her newest album Jeu that are inspired by Schoenberg Schumann and other classical composers.
