About this Event
The Dennis Family Corporation (DFC) invites you to an exclusive premiere screening of Reimagining the Great Australian Dream (), ahead of its public release and the launch of our community engagement campaign.
As Queensland faces an escalating housing crisis, DFC is initiating a region‑wide conversation about how new communities can better deliver homes for Queenslanders—now and for generations to come. This documentary is a central element of our engagement program to co‑design the proposed Rose Creek community at Elimbah, informed by voices from across South East Queensland. Its themes directly intersect with the policy and planning decisions shaping housing diversity, affordability, supply, and community outcomes across the state.
We invite you to a closed-session premiere on Thursday 11 June 2026 at 6.00pm, at The Elizabeth Theatre, 175 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane CBD.
Through the perspective of first‑home‑buyer and social media commentator Kate Murdoch, the film explores what the Great Australian Dream once meant, why it is slipping out of reach, and how housing diversity can help restore opportunity. Featuring interviews with prominent public figures and industry leaders, it brings together informed viewpoints designed to spark thoughtful public discussion on one of Queensland’s most pressing challenges.
Places are limited. Please click the Get Tickets button.
We look forward to welcoming you for an engaging and memorable evening.
