What is Reiki ?
Reiki is a subtle, graceful healing system from Japan, with roots tracing back to the Vedic tradition. Reiki mobilizes the body’s innate healing abilities through a laying-on of hands and channeling of universal life force energy. It is a powerful, nurturing and non-invasive approach which heals by recharging the body’s subtle energetic systems and restoring balance and harmony between body, mind and spirit. Reiki combines effortlessly with other healing modalities or can be used as a complete stand-alone system.
Reiki is taught through a process of attunements ritually passed on from teacher to student. During the attunements, the student’s energy channels are cleared of obstructions, aligned, and opened wide to the source of universal Ki (Chi). The result is a lifelong amplification and profound deepening of the practitioner’s innate healing abilities, as well as accessing their own higher information. Subsequently, ongoing opportunities to join Reiki circles, contribute with, and receive Reiki.
This 2-day workshop includes
- Reiki level 1 attunements, certification and course manual
- Reiki history, philosophy and principles
- Instruction in Reiki hand positioning and specific healing strategies
- Discussion of vitalism and the anatomy of the subtle human energy system (chakras, auras, energetic cords)
- Discussion on integrating Reiki with other healing arts modalities
- Guided meditations, directed hands-on practice, one-on-one and group healing sessions.
Program Schedule
This course takes place over two consecutive days, from 10 am to 5 pm each day. At the end of the first day of training, please consider restorative, solitary time where you can gently process the attunements as well as the information and healing you accessed. Upon completing this two-day journey, a 21-day of clearing is highly recommended to ensure a wholesome integration.
