Join us for a FREE continuing education course focused on rehabilitation strategies for individuals with post-exertional malaise (PEM), the hallmark feature of ME/CFS and long COVID with PEM. Traditional rehabilitation approaches can unintentionally worsen symptoms in this population.
Course Focus
Participants will gain a practical, evidence-informed understanding of:
• Identify ME/CFS and long COVID as neuroimmune illnesses
• Recognize PEM as the key clinical feature
• Understand why traditional rehab may worsen symptoms
• Apply Pacing for PEM and safe rehabilitation strategies
• Managing common comorbidities
• Supporting individualized care plans
