“The first of only 3 Reggae Got Soul Fundraisers scheduled for this year is for our old friends at Edinburgh NE Food Bank. Sadly, the need for their community resource and support is growing so come along on May 23 and support us in raising some vital funds to help them in their work while enjoying the unique blend of Reggae and Soul on rotation throughout th evening.
Expect the usual High-Grade Reggae from veteran DJ Jeremiyah, incorporating Rocksteady, Roots old and new, Lovers Rock and One Drop, while Soul man George brings his bag of “soulful and funky grooves from across the decades” to keep the the dance-floor vibrant. As always, our indomitable MC Ras Ista the lyrical lion will be blessing the mic with his wit and wisdom
