Melbourne-born DJ and producer Luke Alessi blends house, disco, electro and funk with a modern edge, moving between nostalgic groove and forward-thinking club energy. His breakout releases include The One with Chloé Caillet featuring Jocelyn Brown, which reached #1 on Beatport, alongside collaborations with artists like Demi Riquísimo.
He is the founder of Coffee Cola, a label focused on high-impact club music, and a core member of the Not Without Friends collective. As a DJ, he has built a reputation for high-energy sets, with performances at Lost Village, III Points, Pitch Music & Arts, and clubs such as Fold London, Shelter Amsterdam, Refuge New York and Space Miami.
Refuge is a 500-cap underground nightclub in East Williamsburg built around sound, energy, and atmosphere. At its core is REX, a custom 4-point system designed by co-founder Craig “Shorty” Bernabeu, with four 10-foot stacks surrounding the dance floor for a powerful, immersive experience. Each night is curated to push that system to its full potential.
