About this Event
Working Skirts Productions is a Manchester based, female lead production company. We are raising money to help make our first short film, ‘Cigarettes and Teddy Bears’.
These reformer pilates classes, lead by instructor, Faye Bennett, will help to source props and set, secure location, cast and crew and get our short film into festivals.
Whether you're a pro or just reformer curious, this is the perfect chance to give pilates a go and move your body in one of Manchester's leading boutique Pilates studios, all while giving back to the arts!
Classes will be mixed ability with options for all levels throughout. Explainations of how to use the reformer beds will be given at the start. Class is pre-natal and beginner friendly. Expect a full body work out, focusing on breath, coordination and mind-body connection to balance and align the body.
ALL CLASSES REQUIRE GRIP SOCKS. This is a health and safety and studio requirement that will also enhance your practice. Grips socks are available to purchace in the studio from £12.
The He`alth Lab is located in Manchester's Northern Quarter. You can enter via The Green Lab cafe or the studio entrance on Newton Street. Changing rooms and shower facilities are availaible. No towels are provided.
Please note: Some classes in the series are not during studio and cafe opening times so there is no late comer admittance to ANY SATURDAY classes. Every other class has a 5 minute late comers cut off. Meaning no admitance after 5 minutes of the class starting.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts to be directed to the correct studio and for reformer induction if required.
