We'd love to welcome you to our reflective end of year workshop for adults who have finished cancer treatment.
About this Event

Life after Cancer facilitate an online peer support group for adults who have finished cancer treatment, to connect, support, listen to each other and share their experience of cancer.

This week, we'll be taking part in an end of year reflective journaling workshop. Join us to take a moment to pause, breathe, and reflect on the year.

This session is all about connecting with what's gone and what is coming up in 2025.

What we’ll be exploring together:

  • Celebrating what we are proud of achieving during 2024
  • Sharing what we'd like to let go of and leave behind in 2024
  • Gaining clarity on what we'd like to take forward into 2025
  • Setting our intentions for 2025

Reflection is a really important practice, as it's not often that we stop and take a breath to really think about the bigger picture. This then allows us to move forwards, establish what direction you want to go in and do more of the things that bring us joy.

You may have also faced major challenges this year, and this session can be a way of processing that, acknowledging how you got through it and celebrating your resilience.

What to bring: A notebook and pen to capture your thoughts and intentions.

Who is this for? This is for anyone who has finished cancer treatment, is looking to increase their mental wellbeing and meet others who have also experienced cancer.

The aim: The aim is to increase physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing and reduce isolation. The support members receive reduces the risk of serious mental distress and helps to build a positive life after their cancer experience.

Spaces are limited: Capacity is limited. Please sign up and you will receive an email with a link to Zoom a few hours before the group starts.

Free Space: Please select the free space option if you are unable to make a donation. If all the free spots on Eventbrite are taken, and you're unable to afford a space but still wish to join us, please reach out by email to [email protected] with your name and the event you'd like to attend. We're here to support you.

We are looking forward to seeing you there.
