About this Event

About this Class

Sharp, creamy, aged, washed-rind…what makes each cheese unique? This Fourth of July, join the expert Cheesemongers of Eataly for a guided tasting celebrating exceptional American cheesemakers and the diverse styles, techniques, and traditions behind their craft.

From small family-run creameries to award-winning farmstead producers, this class shines a spotlight on the artisans shaping America’s vibrant cheese landscape. As you taste your way across the country, you’ll gain a new appreciation — and a little patriotic pride — for the craftsmanship, creativity, and quality behind America’s finest cheeses.

Guests will enjoy a tasting of five outstanding artisanal American cheeses at peak perfection, thoughtfully paired with seasonal condiments and two glasses of wine. Along the way, you’ll learn how different styles are made, what gives each cheese its distinct flavor and texture, and how to confidently select cheeses for your own summer entertaining spread.

Whether you’re building a board for a backyard barbecue, fireworks picnic, or holiday gathering, this class will leave you inspired and equipped to create the perfect Fourth of July cheese course of your own.
