🌿 Reconnect: A Journey for Well-Being
After receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback in Autumn 2025, Reconnect returns this spring, offering a 2-hour workshop per month.
Reconnect is a gentle, guided movement practice that supports awareness of how emotions are held in the body, and how, through breath, grounding, and movement, they can safely flow and release.
Rather than fixing or forcing anything, the practice invites you to notice sensations and emotions, and respond to them in an organic, embodied way, building trust with your body and tools you can take into daily life.

Adults of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds, anyone seeking to feel more in tune with themselves, reduce stress, and explore movement as a pathway to well-being.
🌟 These sessions are guided with care, inclusivity, and respect. Everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace and honour their own needs, while supporting the comfort and boundaries of others.
🌸 What to Expect
In February, we will explore what beliefs may be holding us back, and how the practice can help us gently let go and move forward into the year ahead.
No dance or movement experience is needed. You’ll be guided to move at your own pace, focusing on presence and authentic expression.
Across the sessions, we’ll return to simple yet powerful practices, including:

🤸 Meet the Facilitator
Hi, I’m Yuyu Rau, a mindful movement facilitator and dance artist with over 20 years’ experience in dance, theatre, and creative education. I hold an MA in Theatre for Community and Education (Distinction, Mountview) and am trained in trauma-informed and inclusive practice.
My passion is creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where people can slow down, listen to their bodies, and move without pressure or judgment. Creative mindful movement is, for me, a practical way to regulate stress, release tension, and feel more at ease in everyday life.
