Reclaiming Grace aims to create a space for empathy, visibility and dialogue through movement, music and drawing.
About this Event

You are invited to witness and join a live, improvised performance by the dancer-mother and a violinist, to draw movement as it unfolds, and to move together in a shared act of empathy and recognition. Through intertwined gestures of sound, image, and motion, 'Reclaiming Grace' reveals the tender strength of creative bodies, honouring the shared struggles of mothers and artists alike, and uncovering moments of grace within the weight of everyday life.

Through movement, music, drawing, and layered visual projection, the workshop reflects on the fragile balance between care and creation, and the quiet strength that emerges when art and life entwine.

About the workshop facilitator

Olga Szynkarczuk is an artist and fashion designer. Olga has lived in London for over ten years, working professionally as a fashion designer. She enjoys wide recognition in her field and has been awarded in numerous international competitions, as well as featured in industry media. She develops her own creative projects and collaborates with internationally respected fashion brands.
Drawing - especially studies of the human body - remains an essential part of Olga’s life. Her primary tools are pencils and charcoal, though she also uses dry pastels and coloured pencils. Currently, she is expanding her practice to include oil pastels and acrylic markers, focusing on the dynamics of human movement. The depth of colour in her work allows her to capture changes of position while maintaining compositional unity. Her pieces draw attention to the relationship between body and space, the unique energy of movement expressed through subtle variations in line intensity, and the complexity of human emotion.
Her works have been exhibited in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Poland.
