About this Event
Join us for an evening celebrating the publication of Inconceivable by Rebecca Coxon, the launch title from Big Day: a new publishing imprint from 4th Estate and Elizabeth Day. In this deeply honest and intimate memoir, Rebecca – a donor-conceived IVF triplet who has donated her eggs and undergone fertility treatment herself – shares her remarkable story. It’s one of family secrets, shame, resilience and warmth, offering a profound glimpse into the consequences of how we choose to create new life.
Rebecca will be in conversation with author and broadcaster Elizabeth Day, to celebrate the launch of her new publishing imprint Big Day Books, in collaboration with 4th Estate.
Rebecca Coxon is a television documentary director with a background in investigative journalism. She won the ‘Debut Director’ award at Edinburgh TV Festival’s New Voice Awards in 2020. Her credits include: BBC Panorama, 24 Hours in Police Custody and Ambulance.
Elizabeth Day is an award-winning author and broadcaster. Her chart-topping podcast, How To Fail With Elizabeth Day, is a celebration of all of the things that haven’t gone right. Every week, in a one-on-one interview, a guest discusses what they have learned from failure.
Please note: Book and ticket option includes a copy of Inconceivable (RRP. £20) available for collection on the night.
