Realism Foundations: The Hand is a focused two-day intensive designed for people who want to improve observational drawing and develop stronger realism skills.
Day One – Training the Eye
April 11 | 1–3 PM
- Timed observation drills
- Contour and structural studies
- Light and shadow mastery
- Form-based shading techniques
Learn to move beyond outline and understand volume, value, and proportion.
Day Two – Meaning & Mastery
April 18 | 1–3 PM
- Concept development
- Composition planning
- Realistic hand rendering
- Guided critique and refinement
Create a meaningful final hand study using strong value range, controlled edges, and consistent light source.
