This two-hour interactive workshop will begin with a presentation and brief exercise on the nature of homelessness and homelessness culture and then discuss the case management model for helping individuals access services and move out of homelessness. Discussion will include ethics, safety and basic techniques. Presenter Mike Trapp will highlight volunteer opportunities and specific Columbia resources.Mike Trapp is a consultant and organizer, certified co-occurring disorders professional, certified clinical trainer and author of "The Practical Guide to Building a Better World."
