About this Event
Hear all about Oliver's experience with learning to read at 32 -- the culmination of a lifetime of struggles with learning disabilities, a strained education system, and a dream, all shared on TikTok to encourage others and himself. In the span of a year, Oliver went from being functionally illiterate, to finishing nearly 100 books, and writers about the 21 books that shaped his journey the most.
This event is just one of many family-centered experiences happening on 2/28 in conjunction with Black Family Collective. As the saying goes, raising healthy and happy Black families “takes a village.” Join us Saturday 2/28 to foster community and support for the Black family through the Body, Mind, and Soul. Keep an eye out on Eventbrite for those announcements coming soon!
We have a full-service cafe with coffee, wine, beer, food, and snacks. Please no outside food or drink.
Please pick up books reserved through Eventbrite within 7 days or reach out for delayed pick up.
