About this Event
Let's dim the lights and turn up the volume for Open Mic Night! Join us as a performer or attendee and cheer on your fellow artists. Play an instrument, sing a song, perform a dance, share your poetry or spoken word, or do a standup routine. You don't need to be an expert - A Seat at the Table Books is a community safe space and supportive environment for all. All experience levels welcome.
Because we are open to the public during open mic, families may be present. Please adjust content as needed.
We have a full-service cafe with coffee, wine, beer, food, and snacks. Please no outside food or drink.
About the host: Romel Antoine is a community advocate, facilitator, and creative committed to helping people reconnect to their power and each other. With deep roots in education and organizing, he specializes in creating environments where vulnerability and joy can coexist.
