About this Event
The Read Write Rhyme Conference
Assessment Driven Literacy. Research Anchored Innovation. Georgia Focused Impact.
The Read Write Rhyme Conference is a one day intensive professional learning experience focused on assessment driven literacy instruction.
The conference positions hip hop discourse as a structured, standards aligned approach to reading and writing grounded in the Science of Reading and Disciplinary Literacy.
Educators examine complex lyrical texts to strengthen vocabulary development, comprehension, syntax awareness, and analytical writing aligned to Georgia ELA Standards and Georgia Milestones expectations.
Participants analyze Georgia Milestones and iReady diagnostic data, identify strand level literacy gaps, and plan Tier 2 instruction to support students performing below grade level. Sessions connect research to classroom practice and emphasize measurable outcomes through pre and post assessment analysis.
The Read Write Rhyme Conference goes beyond engagement. It equips teachers, instructional coaches, and school leaders with research grounded strategies, ready to use instructional tools, and assessment literacy practices that directly improve reading instruction and student performance.
