Let’s celebrate the soul of the Bronx—our stories! We are proud to present Read & Rave as a highlight of Bronx Week. We’re deeply grateful to Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson for making the magic of reading a borough-wide priority. This year, we’re honoring our roots with special read-alouds featuring the incredible voices of Bronx Authors.

Storyland is also thrilled to announce the official launch of Bronx Reads Together scheduled for Monday, May 11th, a landmark partnership with former NYC DOE Chancellor Meisha Porter (CEI) and Stephanie Arriola (Executive Director, D7). Together, we’re building a stronger Bronx- A Bronx that Leads!

Read & Rave takes place the second Saturday of the month in partnership with Bee True To You or Special Guest Author.

Upcoming 2026 Read & Rave: March, April, May, June, October, November, December.

Registration is necessary as space is limited.

Read & Rave is recommended for children ages 2–8. Because the environment at Storyland can become quite loud, we suggest that children with sound sensitivity bring noise-canceling headphones.
