Reaching and Teaching: The Art of Leading with Suzy PetchEam

In this on-your-feet workshop designed for teachers and leaders, you will have the opportunity to learn how to deepen your reach as a leader from Master Teaching Artist and Field Programs Director of The Stella Adler Studio's Arts Justice Division: Suzy PetchEam.

A little about Suzy: A graduate of Pace University, with a BFA in Acting, Suzy currently serves as the Director of Arts Justice Field Programs at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. She trains young actors in NYC Public Schools, as well as leads an arts education program on Rikers Island. She also provides her Artistic Life Skills class at several drug and alcohol recovery treatment centers throughout New York City. She currently serves as the Director of Outside/In, an arts re-entry program designed to serve those who are formerly incarcerated, recovering from substance use disorder and managing mental health challenges. She has directed and appeared in many of their original productions created around such themes as Connection, Acceptance and Hope. She is a fierce advocate for her students and is dedicated to using the arts for the purpose of healing and nurturing humanity.
